New Build Landscape
Jeff and Dana were nearly completed building this magnificat home and wanted to accentuate its grand appearance with plants that would provide color thoughout all four seasons but not hide the beauty of the stonework they had chosen. This low-mainance landscape was designed to do just that.

Trying something new
This was one of the first opportunities we had to try out a new design program. Giving the home owner the opportunity to visualize the final landscape has prompted us to try our hand a new technology. As the plants grow result should fill in and the beds will look much like the design software image.
In this landscape we added 2 ton of top soil to the bed to the left of the house to raise the elevation so that it would be visible from the road. The house sits atop a pretty good grade. Flowering deciduous and evergreen shrubs as well as assorted perennials will provide color spring through fall. Accent boulders were placed throughout for a natural finished product.

Starting Over
What a difference! Ron and Marjory's 30 year old home was way overdue for a face lift. The coral brick of this home was hidden behind well maintained but certainly overgrown shrubs. We gave them a simple low maintenance landscape using a Japanese Maple as a feature tree, Alberta Spruce and Japanese Holly to the left and smaller varieties of Rhododendron and Azalea on the left with a Holly and Rheingold Arborvitae to add some color and texture. Leaving plenty of room for the annual flowers Marjorie loves to plant each year.

A Florists' Dream Garden
Customers Toby and Ray came to us with a distinct idea of what they wanted. Having been a florist, Toby knew he wanted lots of color, and texture. We designed this garden to offer lots of both. The flagstone pathway to their entrance was not in their original vision but they were certainly thrilled with the concept when presented to them. They provided the finishing touches with beautiful statuary they had gathered in their travels.

Natures' Sanctuary
The owners of this century old stone summer home wanted to be able to sit on their porch and watch bees butterflies do their work. We removed the overgrown vegetation and filled in the garden with shrub, perennials and succulents which will flower spring through fall to invite nature to this beautiful location and cleaned up the fantastic natural looking path that meandered along the garden.

Out with the old, in with the new
Downsizing and lower maintenance were the top priorities of this job. So we removed their existing shrubs and added slow growing varieties that would not take over the space. A border of landscape timbers was added to finish the look and keep the newly installed rock in place and out of the grass.
